I think God is amazing. God can control everything. He could even control us to love Him if he wanted us to, but he doesn't and I think this is amazing. This shows amazing things about God's love!
God is a gentlemen and will never force you to do anything you don't want to do.
God realizes that forced love isn't true love and therefore he gives us all a choice. Some of us grow up being close to our fathers and some of us grow up hating our fathers we ultimately have a choice here on earth if we love or hate our earthly fathers. God in a sense gives us this same choice.. I wonder why we view it so different?
Some people view God as the type to strike you down any minute if you say the wrong thing or drink the wrong drink.. but look at this love... the CHOICE he gave us... isn't it amazing?
Ever hear the verse.. "and this is how you should pray Thy Father Who art in Heaven"? The word Father that is used in the original greek is Pater (I believe I spelled it right) this word means.. Dad, Daddy, Father, Pops.... Not God most high theees and thouss blah blah blah.... BUT SIMPLY DADDY! Next time you pray I encourage you to think of God as your DADDY.. possibly even start your prayer with, "Hey Daddy"..
