"I mean, thoughts are just chemicals of certain temperatures and shapes that go through our brains, and that makes it easy to dismiss them sometimes, but this was pretty intense."
A friend of mine wrote that to me in an e-mail after he was singing a song and it reminded him of The Passion when Jesus was on the cross and they said, "women, behold your son" ..... I think it is very interesting when things enter our minds and then leave very quickly... sometimes we were meant to dwell on it a little bit more..
That sentence above reminded me of last week..
Last week when the trees iced over and had that cool look... I was
walking to work and I was enjoying the trees so much
and then there was a branch that was weighed down so
it was in my way of the sidewalk.. i was going to go
around it, but at the same time I couldn't resist
touching it so I tapped it and it made that cool
crackling noice and I just started laughing.. I know
like he said it was probably a chemical going
through me that just made me giggle, but at the same
time I started thinking about that tree branch all the
way to work and how it made me laugh. I mean it was
no inside laugh .. I laughed right out loud and then I
started laughing at me laughing.. So on the rest of my
walk I was thinking about how simply you can see God
in things if you just look. He made my day by a
little tree branch that had ice on it the other day..
I could of so easily missed that it was Him who gave
that joy to me, but that day I didn't...
I wonder how many more thoughts I let pass me by without thinking about them.. I'm talking about the simplest of ones... E-mail me some of your simplest thoughts that you had today.. Forgiven_o@yahoo.com
